SAMI STEVENS and the Man I Love
Sami’s NYC based group, Sami Stevens and the Man I Love, is “the tenderness you need today” -Stereofox. Founded in 2015, the band draws together cohesive, classic RnB style songwriting, Joni Mitchell-esque harmony and freedom, and intense dynamic range, having you fighting back tears one minute and up on your feet the next.
The most intimate version of Sami’s performance is undeniably her solo show. Dynamic and playful, the singer captivates the room, supported by clear, warm tones on her keyboard.
Duo with Kazemde George
Accompanied by Kazemde George on tenor saxophone, Sami gives a dynamic, playful performance of original Singer-Songwriter/Jazz/RnB music in this NYC based duo act. Supported by clear, warm tones on her keyboard, Stevens' voice delivers on minimal arrangements, cutting to the core of her intimate, lyrical writing.
